AixSense

We are a passionate interdisciplinary team of RWTH students supported by RWTH - IWE (Institut fur Werkstoffe der Elektrotechnik) institute from Aachen, Germany. Our core team compromises students from the fields of micro-nano technology, biology, electronics and management. We are looking forward to a journey filled with a variety of learnings and experiences in developing a portable biosensor to detect influenza A. 

Along with this, we want to make an impactful impression while networking with the partners and other participants. While having fun along the way we are motivated to overcome the various challenges which would come our way especially during this pandemic. 

It is our pleasure to be supported by two talented and intelligent supervisors from the RWTH - IWE (Institut fur Werkstoffe der Elektrotechnik) institute. Professor Sven Ingebrandt teaches Micro- and Nano systems and is the Director of the IWE1 Institute and Dr Vivek Pachuri is the leader of Nanomaterials and BioNanoInterfaces Research Group of the same institute.
